Why Are We Doing This?

Our program is driven by a commitment to share the love of Christ with our community.

We are dedicated to providing a cost-free option to ensure that financial barriers never prevent a child from participating.

We prioritize a safe and uplifting environment where every child feels valued and loved.

How the Program Works

We keep things simple and consistent so the kids know what to expect. Here is what a typical session looks like:

  • Prayer and Play: Every game starts with prayer, then we play ball!

  • Coach-As-You-Go: We teach skills while the kids are playing, prioritizing fun and encouragement rather than intensive drills.

  • Awards: At the end of each game, we give out trophies. We celebrate skills, but we also celebrate kids who display positive traits on the field.

  • Bible Verses: We give out a new Bible verse every week. If the kids can memorize it, they get a small prize!

What is Most Important to Us?

Our curriculum is built upon three pillars that reflect our commitment to the families we serve and the children we mentor:

  1. Love – We want to demonstrate the love of Christ by creating a space where every child feels seen, valued, and known. We are committed to fostering an environment where every child senses the reality of Jesus in their midst. Love, as outlined in the Scriptures, is our highest objective.

  2. Encouragement – The Bible teaches us that words have the power to give life. Our coaches and volunteers are dedicated to speaking life-giving words over each child, and supporting them with ongoing encouragement.

  3. Holistic Development – While we do teach the fundamental skills of the game, we are equally committed to spiritual growth and character growth. Through Scripture, prayer, encouragement, and love, we seek to nurture meaningful spiritual and personal growth in every child.
